Today is a special day as my wife and I are celebrating our four year marriage anniversary. Last year around this time, I was halfway across the planet in Hong Kong working on a project. Up until a couple of weeks ago, my boss had told me that I might have to be in New Haven, Connecticut for a meeting this week but I was able to get out of that as well. Earlier this week I have been inundated with a large work load but it has allowed me to stay in the area to actually be in the same city to celebrate our anniversary.
So while our celebration is going to be a bit low key as the actual celebration will be 12 days in Italy it is nonetheless a celebration for a year that was mostly spent apart and in different areas of the world.
