That Time of Year

Because, yes, it is that time of year. Well it actually started much sooner as I can vaguely remember seeing Christmas displays at a store I went to at the end of September. I used to like Christmas but now it is all about the commercialism, the getting of "things" and somewhere along the way the true meaning of Christmas got lost.

Maybe Ebeneezer Scrooge was predicting something when he said, "Bah humbug!" I always post this image during this time because it is a reminder to me of what Christmas has become and how thoroughly unexcited I am that it is this time of year again.
